After ten moving years as frontman, songwriter and guitarist of the band myballoon, after several published albums and after several tours through Europe and the USA, Tom Lüneburger knows almost all the ups and downs of the music business. His solo career began after the sudden break-up of myballoon in 2006. What is a singer supposed to do who has suddenly lost his band and also has a hard time in his private life? He writes songs to digest his emotions. Tom wrote for many nights and for many weeks. His guitar, an extraordinary voice and great songs became his trademarks.
In March 2010 Tom released his first solo album ‘Good intentions’ and supported the whole Bobby Long European Tour. He played over 100 shows in 2010 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czechia, France, Denmark and England. A concert tour in the USA in 2012 is in preparation. The release of his new album ‘Lights’ is planned for January 2012 but we are delighted to introduce four of the new songs already now.
