With more than 140,000 records sold of his “Berlin Calling” soundtrack and the albums “Time”, “Self” and “Superimpose” which have been released since the beginning of his career, Paul Kalkbrenner is one of the most important artists in electronic music. What began in the late nineties in East Berlin reached its peak in 2008: Paul Kalkbrenner acted as DJ Ikarus in the now legendary techno movie “Berlin Calling”. A successful tour all across Europe followed. 65,000 people visited his shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in which he only performs his own works. At the end of 2010 the live DVD “2010 – A live documentary” was released. It contains hits such as “Sky & Sand”, “Aaron” or “Since 77” and many other impressively recorded songs from 20 live concerts in different European cities.
