The new Barbie movie is coming to big screens this summer. We can’t wait to see famous Hollywood stars, child’s play dialogues, bright pink Barbie aesthetics and great humor through the direction of Greta Gerwig.
In the meantime, we listen the movie’s soundtracks, which feature some of the biggest singers and rappers in the music industry. Rolling Stone has exclusively released the track list of the film, wittily titled “The Album”. The music list will be supplemented with additional songs at the end of the month after the release of the film.
The music for the Barbie movie is produced by Mark Ronson. To date, Ronson has worked on exceptional projects with many famous musicians including Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus.
Our favorite track from the list is the hit duet Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice. It is already known that Nicki Minaj identifies with her alter ego Harajuku Barbie, while her fans are called Harajuku Barbz. It is quite logical that it is the main soundtrack of the film.
