A DJ and a producer, Jonas Blue, is one of those incredibly successful commercial authors that we don’t know much about.
He gained popularity in 2015 with his tropical-house cover of Fast Car, which was originally a ballad by Tracy Chapman from 1988. His version soon became a big hit and peaked on high positions in the charts. In the UK’s top 10 list it remained for eleven weeks, it was No.1 in Germany, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, US-Spotify and it achieved platinum sales seven times.
After three years of successful career and five billion streams through online music services, he finally decided to release his debut album Blue. Third of the album is a compilation of his greatest hits, so among new previously unreleased tracks, there are well known singles like Perfect Strangers, Mama, this year’s summer hit Rise, as well as his latest released single Polaroid.
